I started my career in London in 2010, but Chatham-Kent is home. I built my family's house on our fifth-generation farm, and I came back because I wanted to help people here with their real estate. When you call me about a house in Chatham-Kent, you are talking to someone who lives here, not someone driving in for the day.
Figures are live asking prices of homes for sale through my feed, not sale prices.

People from away sometimes picture Chatham-Kent as one city. It is really a collection of communities that came together under one municipal roof. Chatham is the biggest of them and the place most of us go for appointments and errands. Around it you have the river towns of Wallaceburg and Dresden to the north, Blenheim and Ridgetown to the south and east, and smaller places like Thamesville, Bothwell and Highgate along the way.
Then there is the water. The Thames River runs right through the middle of the municipality, the Sydenham winds through the north end, and the south edge is Lake Erie shoreline, with Erieau out on its spit and Wheatley down at the west end. Everything in between is farmland, crossed by long, straight concession roads.
Most of what sells in Chatham-Kent is the kind of house regular families live in: brick two-storeys and storey-and-a-halfs on older town streets, post-war bungalows, ranch homes from later decades, and newer builds on the edges of the bigger towns. Condos and townhouses exist, mostly in Chatham, but there are fewer of them than in a city like London.
Out in the country you get farmhouses, rural lots with a shop or a barn, and working farms. That is the part of the market I know best from my own life. If a country property is what you are after, my farm and rural property page explains how I approach them, and the rural Chatham-Kent page covers the countryside itself.
The listings you see here come through a feed that carries only part of the Chatham-Kent market. Many local listings are posted on a board that does not share with this feed, so this site will not show you every home for sale in Chatham-Kent. I would rather tell you that up front than have you think the market is emptier than it is.
So use the search as a starting point, then give me a call or send a message. I can look across the whole market for you and tell you what is really out there in the town or price range you care about. You can still browse houses for sale in Chatham-Kent or farms and country properties here any time.
Buyers coming from bigger cities are often pleasantly surprised by how much house and yard they can get here. My advice is to slow down and look at the details that matter outside the city: the age of the roof and the furnace, whether a property is on town water or a well, what kind of sewage system it has, and how the basement handles a wet spring. My buyer page walks through how I help with that.
For sellers, the people who buy in Chatham-Kent come from all over: local families moving up, retirees moving closer to the lake, and folks from London, Windsor and the GTA who want more room. Pricing well and getting the listing in front of the right buyers is the job. If you want to know where your home stands, ask me for a home evaluation.
Chatham is the largest, along with Wallaceburg, Dresden, Blenheim, Ridgetown, Tilbury, Wheatley, Thamesville, Bothwell, Highgate and Erieau, plus many smaller villages and hamlets and a lot of farmland. Each has its own page under communities.
No. The feed behind this site carries only part of the Chatham-Kent market, because many local listings are posted on a board that does not share with it. Call or message me and I will look across the whole market for you.
Yes. I own a fifth-generation family farm here, and farm and rural property is one of the three things I focus on. See my farm and rural property page.
Yes. I started my career in London in 2010 and still help buyers and sellers there. Many of my clients move between London and Chatham-Kent. See the London page.
